Cassie Cyrene: a warm blend of soul, jazz, and funk
Where soul touches your heart, jazz guides you, and funk gets you moving
Influenced by artists such as Sampha, Michael Kiwanuka, and Celeste, I create a warm and soulful sound that blends vulnerability and strength. In September 2022, I released my debut single, “Hold Me And Love Me,” followed by “Love Games” in January 2023. After a period of reflection and refinement, I released an EP titled “Hardship & Prosperity” this summer.
For years, I sang in cover bands and the Revival Big Band. With these groups, I performed in cafés and cultural centers throughout East Flanders. This experience shaped my style and gave me a real sense of fulfillment on stage, but now it’s time for a new chapter with my own music that tells my story. I perform my songs both in intimate settings and with a full band.
